I am a User Experience (UX) research and designer who does all of the leg work communicating user needs to developers and relevant stakeholders. I have also learned how to code some pretty snazzy User Interfaces (UI).
I am essentially a UX Generalist with some front-end development skills thrown into the mix
I am the Unicorn you have been looking for.
UX Research and Design

UX Research
I have experiene with a variety of UX research methods, such as ethnographic research, card sorting, journey mapping, and usability testing. User research forces designers to make more informed design decisions for the user.

UX Design
I also have experience designing interactive experiences based on user research using paper-and-pencil prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototyping tools like Sketch and Axure.

UX Research
I provided UX consultation for a small start-up called Mile-Two, which paved the way for my career at Booz Allen Hamilton.
I still enjoy helping small businesses and provided a heuristic evaluation for a small SAS company (MLS—Ecauador).

UX Design and Development
I designed and developed a risk management tool that focused on human systems integration best practices for the Air Force.
Following that work, I conducted user research and designed mockups and prototypes for the Blue Baseline Playbook.
